2016 SLC result out with Grading System

The Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has published the results of the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examinations on Thursday, June 16, 2016.

Of the total number of students appeared in the SLC exams, 437,326 students were under regular category and 150,826 under exempted have passed the examinations.

Under the regular section, 16,453 students passed with Grade Point Average – (GPA above 3.6 to 4.0), 41,577 with (GPA above 3.2 to 3.6), 48,611 with (GPA above 2.8 to 3.2) and 63,181 with (GPA above 2.4 to 2.8).

Similarly, four have made it through (GPA above 3.6 to 4.0) under exempted category while eight passed under (GPA above 3.2 to 3.6), 94 with (GPA above 2.8 to 3.2) and 2,943 with (GPA above 2.4 to 2.8) under the same category.

The SLC examination was held from March 31 to April. This is the first time that OCE has published the results in GPA in the 83-year history of SLC examinations.

Meanwhile, the Office of the Controller of Examinations will conduct chance exam for students with D and E Grade in theory for two subjects. The chance exam is scheduled from July 29-August 5, 2016.
